Settings in the SETUP menu
All settings are made in the SETUP menu, which you can open using the SETUP
key. These settings relate to such items as image format, sound settings and child
protection.
 Press SETUP. The main page of the SETUPmenu appears on the screen with
the four main System, Audio, Dolby, Video and Preference page. The
active menu is highlighted in yellow.
 Select a different menu using the
or navigation buttons or select a different menu.
NOTICE!
If you are unable to access the Preference menu, this means you have opened the SETUP
menu during playback . Exit the SETUP menu via the
SETUP button, stop playback (2 x STOP
) and call up SETUP again.
Navigating in the menus
You can move through the menus using the navigation keys. The active points are highlighted. An ex-
planation of each menu selected is given at the lower edge of the menu.
Use  to select the first menu item.
Sub- and selection menus
A selection menu on the right-hand side of the screen opens for most sub-menus. The current selection
is highlighted. Move right with . The active item is marked.
Use  or  to select another item. The new selection is now highlighted. The bar underlining the previ-
ous selection remains visible initially.
 Press
ENTER to confirm the selection. The bar underlining the previous selection disappears. With 
you can return to the left-hand side of the menu.
Exit menu
 Press  to return to the superior menu level.
With
SETUP you can leave the SETUP menu at any time.
