System menu 
TV Display 
Here you set the unit's display format to match that of the television. 
Normal/PS: Selection for televisions with 4:3 format. The Pan Scan format depicts 16:9 film formats in 
full height, the sides of the image will be cropped. 
 Normal/LB: Selection for televisions with 4:3 format. The letterbox format reduces the 16:9 film 
format to the size of the screen. 
 Wide: Selection for televisions with 16:9 format. 
Angle Mark 
 On: If scenes on the DVD ahave been shot from various camera angles and stored, an icon will ap-
pear on the screen to indicate this
 . 
 Off: The symbol does not appear with this setting. 
OSD Lang 
This sets the OSD (On-Screen-Display) language, i.e. the language for the DVD player menus. You can 
choose between English, Spanish, German, French, Italian or Dutch. 
When selecting a language the menu changes immediately. 
Captions 
Select whether additional sub-titles for the deaf should be displayed in the case of DVDs here. This func-
tion is not supported by all media. 
 On: Sub-titles for the deaf will be represented automatically each time a DVD is started. 
 Off: No sub-titles will be displayed with this setting. 
Screensaver 
You will select whether the screen saver should be activated if you do not use the device for a longer 
period (the pause or stop mode) in this setting. 
Last memory 
The DVD player will remember the position at which you stopped the most recently inserted DVD, with 
this function. The replay will begin at the most recent position, if the same DVD is reinserted in the de-
vice. The last position on the DVD will even be retained if you switch off the device.
