This page explains how to use the remote to play tapes on your VCR.
Auto/Manuat Tracking Adjustment
YourVCRadjuststracking automaticaLLywhen you play a tape. If
the tape was recordedon a different VCR,streaks(video noise)
may appear.WhiLethe tape is pLaying,pressTRK(V/&) to
adjust the tracking manuaLLy.
Real-Time Tape Counter
PressENTERtwice to keep the tape counteron the TVscreen.
PressENTERrepeatedlyto removeall displays.The counter
resetsto 0:00:00 when you insert a cassetteor when a tape is
rewoundto its beginning.
Pause/Forward/Reverse Stow-Motlon Video
(WhiLe in play mode) Press PAUSEfur stiLLvideo. Press PAUSE
again, and follow on-screen instructions for Forward or Reverse
stow motion. Press F FWDor REW to control stow speed during
slow moUon. Press PLAYto resume normal tape playing.
Note: Whenthe reverseslowmode continues for morethan 30
seconds,the VCRwill automatically changetoplay mode.
Tape Rewind and Fast Forward
(WhiLein Stopmode) Pressand releaseREWor F FWO(East
Forward),as desired.PressSTOPwhen tape reachesdesired

Reverse/Forward Search
(WhiLein PLaymode) Pressand releaseREWor F FWD,as

resumesnormalplayback.
