Remote Control I
Remote Control
While your Digital Remote Control is pre-programmed to operate your Digital Cable Box, you
must also set up your Remote to work with your particular TV.
PLEASE NOTE:
Your remote control
may look slightly
different from the one
pictured here, but
most of the function
keys are common to
all remote controls.
Yours should work
in the same manner
and your keys should
be located in similar
places.
SETUP1 : Programs the Remote to control
home entertainment devices (TV, DVD, VCR,
etc).
DEVICE BUTTONS
2 : Each button
(or key) selects a different device
(TV, Cable, DVD, etc) to control.
GUIDE
3 : Displays Program GUIDE.
ARROWS
4 : Use to navigate through
Program GUIDE, title banner or
SETTINGS menus.
DAY
5 : In the Program GUIDE
+ Move forward a day
– Move back a day
OK/SELECT
6 : Use to accept or select the
option on the screen.
VOL
7 : + Raises Volume;
– Lowers Volume.
FAV
8 : Selects Favorite channel.
MUTE
9 : Turns off sound.
Press again to restore sound.
ON DEMAND
10 : Each button is pre-set to
access specific ON DEMAND features.
REPLAY (DVR ONLY)
11 : Replays the last 7
seconds of the current show.
VIDEO CONTROLS
12 : Controls video
functions for various devices.
NUMBERS
13 : Use to input Channels
by number or enter PIN.
VIDEO SOURCE
14 : Use to access a
different input source.
PWR/MASTER POWER
15 : Controls the
power for home entertainment devices.
SETTINGS
16 : Displays Settings Menu.
INFO
17 : Shows information about the program
on screen. Press twice for more information.
PAGE+ PAGE–
18 : Moves through menu
screens and Program GUIDE
EXIT
19 : Quits program GUIDE or Channel
Banner.
CH
20 : + Channels Up;
– Channels Down
LAST
21 : Recalls the channel previously
viewed.
LIST (DVR ONLY)
22 : Displays the list
of recorded shows (if available).
LIVE (DVR ONLY)
23 : Returns to
watching live TV.
HD/ZOOM
24 : Changes the aspect ratio
of the current show (if available).
SWAP (DVR ONLY)
25 : Switches back and
forth between the two tuners.
