Who is Zero 88
Zero 88’s “grass-roots” beginning started in 1972 when a group of engineers with
a shared passion for entertainment and electronics met at University in the UK
and decided to turn this passion into a business. These enterprising young men
wanted to come up with a name that held some significance and since they were
starting from zero, they decided to call the company Zero 88.
Zero 88 entered the marketplace in live performance with the launch of a range of
innovative consoles that quickly gained ground with London nightclubs. Continuing its
commitment to innovation, Zero 88 developed the first affordable memory controlled
lighting console, the Sirius 24.
For nearly 40 years, Zero 88 has been a market leading entertainment lighting control
brand. With focus on the unique and special needs of the entertainment industry, the
Zero 88 product range by Cooper Controls provides dimming, console, and software
solutions for the ultimate in performance lighting control.
