Specifications
n
The Automatic Transfer Switch cabinet
shall accommodate 2, 4, 6, or 8 - 20 Amp
load circuits for transfer to the emergency
power source. The transfer relay(s) shall be
dual pole per circuit, transferring both the
hot and neutral of each circuit. Emergency
transfer systems that utilize low voltage
control signals to “force” dimmer control
circuits to full shall not be acceptable.
n
Up to ten remote control key switch sta-
tions shall be available.
n
Operating voltage options for the Automatic
Transfer Switch shall include 120/240VAC,
120/208VAC, 240/415VAC, 277/480VAC.
Single or three phase power shall also be
available as options.
n
A toggle switch or optional key switch for
periodic testing of the transfer relay(s) shall
be mounted on the face of the enclosure.
n
Supply Voltage: Single Phase 85-260 Volts
via CEE22 connector
n
DMX Output: DMX512-A via 5 pin female
XLR connector
n
LED Indicators shall be present to indicate
“Normal Power” and “Emergency Power”.
n
The Automatic Transfer Switch shall
incorporate the control equipment neces-
sary to switch from the normal supply to
the backup or alternate supply in the event
that any or all phases of the normal power
supply are interrupted.
n
Memories: 12 static
n
It shall be possible to adjust the time delay
of all the relays in the cabinet for transfer
in either direction between Normal and
Emergency power.
n
The Automatic Transfer Switch shall
incorporate a mechanism which makes it
impossible for the load to be disconnected
from both the normal and alternate power
supplies if either or both of the supplies
are available with voltage and frequency
sufficient to permit proper operation of the
load.
