Sidewinder
Die Sidewinder virtuelle DMX Konsole ist das Powerpack hinter der Figment DMX
Anwendung. Sidewinder ist ein handlicher DMX Prozessor und funktioniert als
Playback Controller für die Figment Anwendung und funktioniert gleichzeitig als
DMX In und Output Einheit für den Palm Handheld. Sidewinder kann DMX In und
Output verwalten und gleichzeitig Scene-Fades aus dem eingebautem Memory sen-
den. Auch die Verarbeitung von DMX Diagnostic Daten und der Test von Kabeln ist
möglich. Anschluss von Palm Handheld oder anderen Computern über RS 232.
The Sidewinder Virtual DMX Console is the power behind the Figment DMX applica-
tion. Sidewinder is a handheld DMX processor with the power of a console built in an
ultraminiature package. Sidewinder functions as a playback controller for Figment
while providing DMX input and output capabilities for the Palm series of handheld
computers. So much power, so little space...
Sidewinder´s DMX processing engine easily handels DMX input and output while per-
forming scene fades from its internal memory. It is also capable of collecting DMX dia-
gnosting data and testing cables. Sidewinder includes four macro buttons wich can be
directed to perform various user-definable functions. Two „AA“ size batteries (or an
external DC input) run Sidewinder for hours and provide full DMX opto-isolation at its
built in XLR jacks. All of Sidewinder´s features are controllable through the unit´s stan-
dard RS-232 serial port allowing a Palm handheld (or other host computer) to be atta-
ched. All of this package into a tiny unit measuring just 2.4“ x 4.0“ x 1,5“ (60 x 101 x
38 mm) an weighting about 7 oz. (209 g).

RadioDMX ermöglicht die kabellose Übertragung von DMX-Daten. RadioDMX ist die
„State of the Art“ Lösung für alle Anwendungen, bei denen Kabel durch schwieriges
Terrain verlegt werden müssten oder komplett unerwünscht sind. RadioDMX nutzt
zur Übertragung das 2,4 GHz ISM Band und ermöglicht damit den uneingeschränk-
ten Betrieb nahezu überall auf der Welt. RadioDMX ist als „Transceiver“ konstruiert,
d.h er verfügt über Sender- wie Empfängerfunktionen.
The RadioDMX system is based on the RadioDMX transceiver. The transceiver can act
as either a DMX Transmitter or a DMX Receiver, which is selectable at any time by an
easy-to-use LCD menue. Each transmitter has the capacity of transmitting 512 chan-
nels and each transceiver can receive its data from any of 16 uniquely adressed trans-
mitters, allowing a total system capacity of 8192 channels. The radio DMX systems
offers several antenna and RF cable options that are tailored to many common wire-
less lighting products.
