Description
Name
Enter a name for the door that this device controls.
State
Select NC for normally closed, or NO for normally open. If either is selected,
the defined opening method will not be effective.
Opening Method
See Step 3 above.
Hold Time
(Sec.)
Unlock duration. If expired, the door will be locked. It ranges from 0.2 to 600
seconds.
Normally Open
Time
The door will be always open or closed.
Normally Close
Time
Timeout (Sec.)
A timeout alarm will be triggered if the door stays unlock for longer than this
value.
Duress Alarm
An alarm will be triggered when a duress card or duress password is used to
unlock the door.
Door Sensor
Intrusion and overtime alarms can be triggered only after Door Sensor is
enabled.
Intrusion Alarm
When Door Sensor is enabled, an intrusion alarm will be triggered if the door
is opened abnormally.
Overtime Alarm
A timeout alarm will be triggered if the time that a user takes to unlock the
door exceeds the Timeout(s), which ranges from 1 to 9999 seconds.
Anti-passback
Alarm
If enabled, users need to verify identities both for entry and exit; otherwise an
alarm will be triggered.
If a person enters with the identity checked and exits without the identity
checked, an alarm will be triggered when the person tries to enter again
and the person will have no permission to unlock the door any more.
If a person enters without the identity checked, an alarm will be triggered
when the person tries to exit with the identity checked, and the person will
have no permission to unlock the door any more.
Click OK.
Alarm Linkage
3.5.1 Setting Alarm Linkage
Alarm input devices can be connected to the device, and you can modify the alarm linkage
parameter as needed.
Log in to the web interface.
Select Alarm Linkage > Alarm Linkage.
