BitStorm L3S Series Device Manager

Console version

The Console version of the BitStorm L3S Series Device Manager can be used to:

Configure the system, including password changes and the Spanning Tree Protocol

●

Configure all ports●

Create port-based VLANs●

Configure IP routing●

Configure SNMP settings●

Reach the Command Line interface●

Reset the system●

The Console Main Menu items are described below.

System Setup:

change the existing password

●

update system firmware●

reset the Switch to the factory defaults●

System Configuration:

name your Switch, enter contact and location

●

set its IP address, subnet mask and default gateway●

check the Switch's uptime●

set a trap level●

view the Switch's hardware, software and boot ROM versions●

Set Port Configuration:

configure individual ports

name ports●
