Description

WATERTITE Flexible Primer & Finish is a high build, moisture and mildew

resistant low VOC coating specially designed with elastomeric qualities to expand

and contract to fill hairline cracks in vertical concrete and masonry surfaces

including: stucco, brick, tilt-up, pre-cast, or poured-in-place concrete as well as

CMU and cement block.

WATERTITE Flexible Primer & Finish provides excellent resistance to highly alkali surfaces (pH levels up to 13.8).

This coating can be applied to new properly cast concrete and stucco within 72 hours. It blocks efflorescence (salt build-

up) from passing through the topcoat and will not degrade when applied to concrete surfaces with a pH of 13.8.

Durable and weather resistant, WATERTITE Flexible Primer & Finish passes the ASTM D6904-03 Standard Practice

for Resistance to Wind Driven Rain for Exterior Coatings Applied on Masonry. Based on ASTM 1737-85 & D522 Method of

Test for Elongation testing, WATERTITE Flexible Primer & Finish can stretch up to 160%.

WATERTITE Flexible Primer & Finish does not yellow or chalk. It can be used as a primer or primer and top coat.

The 2-coat primer and topcoat system is backed by a 10 Year Durability Guarantee*. If WATERTITE Flexible Primer &

Finish is only used as a primer, it is recommended to topcoat with a high quality oil or latex-base top coat or finish.

WATERTITE Flexible Primer & Finish produces a smooth, white flat finish that can be tinted to off-white or mid-tones

using up to 1.5 ounces of universal colorant per gallon.

New and properly cast concrete, stucco, concrete block, tilt-up, precast, poured-in-place and CMU.

Surface Preparation Surfaces must be dry, clean and sound. Dry: New concrete must be cured for at least 3 days prior to coating. Clean: Surface must be free of dirt, efflorescence, mold, algae, sandy mortar, release agents or any material that could compromise the coating’s adhesion. Splash water on the surface to test for the presence of form sealers or release agents. If the surface turns dark, WATERTITE Flexible Primer & Finish can be applied, otherwise chemically clean and retest before proceeding.

FIRST AID Warning! Do not get in eyes. In case of eye contact, flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Wear eye and skin protection. Avoid contact with skin and clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not swallow. If swallowed call a physician or Poison Control Center. Use only with adequate ventilation. Do not breathe vapors or spray mist. Ensure good cross ventilation during application and drying.
