1.Unplugthefixturebeforecleaning.
2.Useaclean,dry,lint‐freecloth.
3.Donotusewaterorotherchemicalcleaningagents.
Thisportablelamphasapolarizedplug(onebladeis
widerthantheother).Asasafetyfeaturetoreducethe
riskofelectricalshockandfire,thisplugwillfitina
polarizedoutletonlyoneway.Iftheplugdoesnotfitfully
intheoutlet,reversetheplug.Ifitstilldoesnotfit,
contactaqualifiedelectrician.Neverusewithan
extensioncordunlesstheplugcanbefullyinserted.Do
notalterthissafetyfeature.
Thislampisforindooruseonly.Thelampshouldnotbe
usednearwater.Neverimmersethelampinwateror
otherliquids.Nevercoverthelampwithanyobject
includingclothorpaperasthisisafirehazard.Donot
handlethebulbimmediatelyafterthelightisturnedoff
asitwillbehot.Thisisnotatoy.
1.Screwthesocketontothepole.
2.Screwthebaseontotheotherendofthepole,
3.Gentlypullthecordatthebasetohelpconnectthe
piecesinstep2together.
4.Onceassembledremovethepaperbackingfromthe
feltpadandattachedsticktothebottomofthelamp.
5.Unscrewthesocketnutandremovethelampshade.
Removetheprotectiveplastic.Returnthelampshadeto
thebodyandsecurewithsocketnut.
6.Installbulb.Onlyusebulbofspecifiedtypeand
maximumratedwattageorless.
7.Assemblyiscomplete.
8.Plugtheelectricalsupplycordintothewalloutlet.Use
theswitchlocatedonthecordtoturnthelampon/off.
