"Out-of-Range" appears on
LCD during calibration.
All four arrows appear on
the LCD.

returns to that mode the next time it
is turned on.
• Battery has 5 to 10 hours of
continuous use left.
Then rotate the level 180º
and calibrate the other
plumb edge by following the
same procedure. Both plumb
axes should now be
calibrated.

compartment and slide it as
indicated by arrow. When it
cannot move any further, lift up

NOTE: The VideoLevel remains calibrated for at least 2 minutes without batteries. It needs to be

Have your new batteries ready. Remove dead batteries
and insert 3 LR44 or A76 batteries, all facing the same
direction, following pattern on bottom of
compartment. Press the door down and slide it until it
snaps into place. Battery life should exceed 1 year with
normal use.

To store and recall any desired angle, turn the VideoLevel on and press the MEMORY button.
"AT" appears at the bottom of the LCD. Place and hold the unit securely at the angle you want
to memorize. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for approximately 3 seconds until the bars start
moving up and down and a short audio tone sounds. Once the calibration bars stop moving, the
new angle has been memorized. This angle remains in memory until you save another angle and
will be recalled the next time you select AT.

Hold the level against a stable, vertical surface such as a door frame. Press and
hold the ON/OFF button in until the bars and arrows on the LCD screen begin
moving up and down, approximately 3 seconds. The number 1 will flash. Hold
unit steady until the bars stop moving and a tone sounds. The number 2 will
appear.

Rotate the level so the LCD is facing away from
you and the same end is up. Press the
ON/OFF button again quickly. Wait for the
calibration bars to stop moving and a final tone
to sound. This plumb axis is now calibrated.

General Information
The Zircon VideoLevel is shock resistant,
but should be treated as a precision
instrument. If dropped it may need to be
recalibrated. Refer to the section
"Recalibrating the VideoLevel" for
further instructions.
While the VideoLevel is water resistant, it
is not waterproof and should be handled
accordingly.
