3.7RelayOutputConnection
C3100hastworelays(oneusedasacontrollockbydefault,andtheotherusedas
anauxiliary output); C3200has four relays (two used as controllocks bydefault,
andtheothertwousedasauxiliaryoutputs);C3400haseightrelays (fourused as
controllocksbydefault,andtheotherfourusedasauxiliaryoutputs).
The relays forauxiliary outputsmaybe connectedto monitors, alarms, door bells,
etc.Auxiliary outputsaresetthroughrelevantaccess controlsoftware. Fordetails,

A lock relaycanbeconnectedinthedryandwetmodes,whileanauxiliaryoutput
relay cannot. Thefollowing illustrates relay outputconnectionwith anexampleof
doorconnection.
1. An access control operator panel provides multiple electronic lock outputs.
The COM and NO terminals are applicable to the locks that are unlocked
whenpowerisconnectedandlockedwhenpoweris disconnected. TheCOM
and NCterminals areapplicableto the locks that are locked when power is
connectedandunlockedwhenpowerisdisconnected.
2. Bysettingthejumperterminalbesidethelockrelay,youcanselectthedevice
powersupply orlockpowersupplyforthelock(thatis,thewetmodeordry
mode).Werecommendtousethewetmodeforyourconvienceofconnection.
Dry mode jumpersetting:short12 and 34, ,and thedevice powersupply
willbeusedfortherelayoutput.
Wetmodejumpersetting:short23and45,andthelockpowersupplywillbe
usedfortherelayoutput.
