3.7RelayOutputConnection
C3100hastworelays(oneusedasacontrollockbydefault,andtheotherusedas
anauxiliary output); C3200has four relays (two used as controllocks bydefault,
andtheothertwousedasauxiliaryoutputs);C3400haseightrelays (fourused as
controllocksbydefault,andtheotherfourusedasauxiliaryoutputs).
The relays forauxiliary outputsmaybe connectedto monitors, alarms, door bells,
etc.Auxiliary outputsaresetthroughrelevantaccess controlsoftware. Fordetails,

A lock relaycanbeconnectedinthedryandwetmodes,whileanauxiliaryoutput
relay cannot. Thefollowing illustrates relay outputconnectionwith anexampleof
doorconnection.
1. An access control operator panel provides multiple electronic lock outputs.
The COM and NO terminals are applicable to the locks that are unlocked
whenpowerisconnectedandlockedwhenpoweris disconnected. TheCOM
and NCterminals areapplicableto the locks that are locked when power is
connectedandunlockedwhenpowerisdisconnected.
2. Bysettingthejumperterminalbesidethelockrelay,youcanselectthedevice
powersupply orlockpowersupplyforthelock(thatis,thewetmodeordry
mode).Werecommendtousethewetmodeforyourconvienceofconnection.
Dry mode jumpersetting:short12 and 34, and thedevice powersupply
willbeusedfortherelayoutput.
Wetmodejumpersetting:short23and45,andthelockpowersupplywillbe
usedfortherelayoutput.
