Assigning WAV les as
captured recordings
WAV les saved on an SD card can be assigned
to pads.
1. Save WAV les to assign in the
“Capture” subfolder in the "AR-96"
folder on the SD card.
HINT
Files that meet the following conditions can be
added as captured audio.
• WAV format les with 44.1kHz sampling fre-
quency and 16/24-bit resolution
• Playback time is 6 minutes (12 minutes if
mono) or less
• File name uses only English letters and
numbers
If the WAV file contains Logic format tempo
information, that information can be read.
2. Load the SD card into the Base
Station, and turn the power ON.
3. Press Z.
4. Tap a pad, or use
e
to select an
unlit pad.
NOTE
Pads that do not have captured audio
assigned to them are unlit. Pads that already
have captured audio assigned to them will light
with their set colors.
The selected pad will light white and the
following screen will open.
5. Press E.
WAV files saved in the “Capture” sub-
folder in the "AR-96" folder on the SD
card will be shown.
6. Use e to select the le to
assign, and press E.
This assigns the WAV le to the pad.
