Instrument management
Instruments can be copied, and their positions
can be swapped.
1. Press K.
This opens the KIT screen.
2. Use e to select INST LIST,
and press E.
This opens a list of the instruments used
in the selected pattern.
HINT
If PAD layout is set to a value other than 32,
the instruments assigned to the Ring Controller
are shown with checks.
3. Use u to select the instrument to
manage, and press E.
Press M to return to the instrument list.

Copying instruments (COPY)
Instruments can be copied to different pads.
This is convenient for using the same sound with
a dierent pitch or parameter settings.
• Use e to select COPY, and press E.
This opens a screen for selecting the copy
destination instrument.
• Use u to select the copy destination instru-
ment, and press E.
This opens a conrmation screen.
• Use e to select Yes, and press E.
This copies the instrument selected previ-
ously over the destination instrument that
was just selected.
This does not change the number of the cop-
ied instrument.

Swapping instruments (SWAP)
The pad positions of two instruments can be
switched.
• Use e to select SWAP, and press E.
This opens a screen where you can select
the instrument to swap.
• Use u to select the instrument to swap,
and press E.
This opens a conrmation screen.
• Use e to select Yes, and press E.
This swaps the instrument selected pre-
viously with the instrument that was just
selected.
NOTE
This does not change the numbers of the
swapped instruments.
