USING THE FOCUS LOCK
To avoid taking out of focus pictures.
The focus lock is used when the subject is outside
the autofocus frame.
Position the subject within the
autofocus frame and press the shutter
release button halfway.
• The exposure will also be locked at this time.
The autofocus lock is released when the finger
is removed from the shutter release button.
Still pressing the shutter release button
lightly, recompose the scene as desired
and then fully press the shutter release
button to take the picture.
