Safety Precautions
Read the content of these Usage and Safety Precautions carefully before use, and then use the product correctly. In this
document, symbols are used to show precautions for the prevention of injury and loss to you or other people that could
result from misuse. The meanings of these symbols are as follows.

Products that use AC adapters
Always use an AC adapter specified for that product.
Do not do anything that could exceed the ratings of outlets and other electrical wiring equipment.
Before using the equipment in a foreign country or other region that uses a different electrical voltage, always
consult with a shop that carries ZOOM products and use the appropriate AC adapter.
Products that use external DC power supplies
Always use an external DC power supply specified for that product.
Carefully study the warning indications of the DC power supply before use.
Products that use batteries
Always use commercially-available 1.5V dry cell batteries or batteries specified in the operation manual.
Carefully study warning indications on batteries before use.
Always keep the battery cover (or battery/SD card cover) closed during use.
Products that use lithium ion batteries
Refer to the "Warnings and requests regarding safe battery use" included separately.

Do not touch for long periods of time while using when the power is on.

AC adapter handling (for products that use AC adapters)
When disconnecting an AC adapter from an outlet, always pull on the plug itself.
Disconnect the AC adapter from the outlet when the unit will not be used for a long time and whenever there is lightning.
