real-time recording, the REC [O
] key
starts to flash and pattern recording is
suspended. In this condition, tapping the
pads will produce sound, but it is not
recorded. This is useful to check
phrasing and sound before actually
recording. To resume recording, press the
REC [
O
] key once more.

To erase the sound from a specific
pad, push the pad while holding
down the [DELETE/ERASE] key.
While the key is held down, the sound from that
pad is erased from the pattern, as shown in Figure
1 below.
To erase the entire track, push the [DRUM] key
while holding down the [DELETE/ERASE] key.
While both keys are held down, all sounds in that
track are erased, as shown in Figure 2 below.

To repeat a sound, tap the pad while
holding down the [REPEAT/STEP]
key.
By holding down the [REPEAT/STEP] key while
hitting a pad, a percussion sound can be recorded.

When real-time input of the drum
track is completed, press the STOP
[
P
] key.
Pattern recording stops.
