Ecological hints To help the environment, use less water and energy, obey these instructions: • Set a programme without the prewash phase to wash laundry with normal soil. • Always start a washing programme with the maximum load of laundry. • If necessary, use a stain remover when you set a programme with a low temperature.

Permanent Extra Risciacquo With this option you can permanently have an extra rinse when you set a new programme.

It is possible to keep the full load but the washing results can be unsatisfactory. We recommend to load: 4 kg for cotton, and 2 kg for synthetics and delicates.

Using detergent and additives • Measure out the detergent and the fabric conditioner. • Carefully close the detergent drawer. Detergent compartment for prewash phase. Detergent compartment for washing phase. Compartment for liquid additives (fabric conditioner, starch). Bleach with the programmes Alternatively the softener, it is also possible to use a bleach agent in the compartment for white cottons. Proceed as follows: • Put the bleach in the compartment .

• Turn the programme knob to the dryness programme applicable for the items to dry. • Set the maximum spin speed allowed for the type of laundry. This helps to obtain the best dryness result. You can press Livelli di asciugatura or Asciugatura a tempo.
The last minutes of the drying cycle the appliance performs the anti-crease and the cooling phases. Washing & Timed Drying If you press Asciugatura a tempo it is also possible to dry up to 6 of cotton items (refer to “Programmes for timed drying”). • Press Asciugatura a tempo to set the drying time value. • The display shows the set drying value time, for example value.
We recommend that you remove these stains before you put the items in the appliance. Special stain removers are available. Use the special stain remover that is applicable to the type of stain and fabric. • If you use liquid detergents, do not set the prewash phase. • If your appliance has not the detergent dispenser with the flap device, add the liquid detergents with a dosing ball. Detergents and additives • Only use detergents and additives specially made for washing machines.

If necessary, clean the pump. When you drain the water with the emergency drain procedure, you must activate again the drain system: 1. Put 2 litres of water in the main wash compartment of the detergent dispenser. 2. Start the programme to drain the water.
Warning! Make sure that the temperature is more than 0 °C before you use the appliance again. The manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by low temperatures. Troubleshooting The start of the appliance does not occur or it stops during operation. First try to find a solution to the problem (refer to the table). If not, contact the service centre. With some problems, the acoustic signals operate and the display shows an alarm code: • - The appliance does not fill with water.
Problem The spin phase does not operate or the washing cycle lasts longer than usually. Possible solution Set the spin programme. Make sure that the drain filter is not clogged. Clean the filter, if necessary. Refer to 'Care and cleaning'. Adjust manually the items in the tub and start the spin phase again. This problem may be caused by balance problems. There is water on the floor. Make sure that the couplings of the water hoses are tight and there is not water leakages.
Problem The laundry is full of different colours fluff. Possible solution Set a drying cycle to remove some fluff. Clean the laundry with a fluff remover. The laundry is full of different colored fluff. The fabrics washed in the previous cycle released fluff of a different color: • The drying phase helps to eliminate some fluff. • Clean the clothes with a fluff remover.
