TIP: You can also open the notification panel and touch

Connected as … to open the connection types menu.

71. Choose one of the following options:



Charge only: Charge your phone via USB.



Media device (MTP): Transfer media files on Windows,

or using Android File Transfer on Mac.



Camera (PTP): Transfer photos using camera software,

and transfer any files on the computers that don’t support

MTP.



Install driver: Install the driver needed for connecting

your phone to your PC software, as a media device or

camera, or to share mobile network. You only need to

install the driver on the same PC once.

To disconnect the phone from the computer, simply unplug the

USB cable when you’re finished.

Remove the microSD Card From Your Phone

If you need to remove the microSD card while the phone is on,

you should unmount it first.

72. Touch the Home Key > Menu Key > System settings >

Storage.

73. Scroll down and touch Unmount SD card > OK.

74. The

icon appears in the status bar and you can now

safely remove the microSD card from the phone.
