 Find My Device: When enabled, helps to locate
your device remotely and keep data safe if the
device is lost. (Google account required.)
 Security update: View current version and
security patch information, and check for updates.
 Screen lock: Select and set up a screen lock
(see Personalizing – Protecting your phone with
screen locks).
Tap beside Screen lock for more settings:
– Make pattern visible: When enabled, the
screen lock pattern is visible while you enter it.
(Available when a pattern is set.)
– Automatically lock: Set the length of time
before lock protection is activated after the
screen turns off. (Available when a pattern,
PIN, or password is set.)
– Power button instantly locks: When enabled,
pressing the Power key immediately activates
lock protection. (Available when a pattern, PIN,
or password is set.)
– Lock screen message: Enter text to display on
the lock screen.
