Phone Security

Phone password

Handset password can protect your handset efficiently and avoid

illegal usage. If handset password protection is activated, you should

input the correct password in handset start-up.

For new bought handset, the protection function is not activated and

the default password is 0000 .

• Press OK Key [Menu] to enter main menu.

• Select Settings > Security > Activate Security Codes > Hand-

set password to turn on or turn off password protection.

• Or select Settings > Security > Change Security Codes >

Handset password to change handset password. It is sug-

gested to change the password according to your requirement.

Notes:

Please remember the password you set, otherwise your hand-

set can not be used normally, need to contact ZTE after-sale

service center.

PIN code is the personal identification code of (U)SIM card, used to

avoid illegal usage for your (U)SIM card. Once PIN code is started,
