Projection Lens Project the display on a surface. WARNING! Do not look directly into the projection lens or point the lens toward people or animals’ eyes when the projector is on as this may cause injury to the eyes. Focus Sensor Analyze the clarity of the projected image in order for the projector to adjust its focus automatically. Back Key Touch to go to the previous screen. Home Key Touch to return to the HOME tab of the home screen. Touch and hold to open the Dolphin browser or the Google app.
Power Key Press and hold to enable or disable airplane mode, power on/off or restart your MF97G. Press to turn off or on the screen display. Press twice quickly when the projector is turned on to adjust its focus automatically. Main Microphone / Auxiliary Microphone Transmit your voice. The auxiliary microphone is useful for canceling ambient noise. Ventilation Port Exhaust hot air when the projector is on.
Installing the microSDHC™ Card (Not Included) A microSDHC card can be installed or removed while MF97G is turned on. You need to unmount the microSDHC card before removing it. See Remove the microSDHC Card From Your MF97G. 1. Turn your MF97G upside down. Insert the tip of the tray eject tool into the hole on the microSDHC card tray and take the tray out of the slot. 2. Place the microSDHC card on the tray as shown and carefully install the tray back.
NOTE: Some applications may require a microSDHC card to work properly if it stores certain data on it. Therefore, it is recommended that you keep a microSDHC card installed and not remove or replace it unnecessarily. Charging the Battery You should fully charge the battery before using MF97G. Out of the box the battery should have enough power for MF97G to turn on. WARNING! Use only ZTE-approved chargers and cables. The use of unauthorized accessories may cause damage.
CAUTION: Do not try to remove or change the built-in rechargeable battery in your MF97G by yourself. By doing so will violate the warranty policy from ZTE. Contact customer service for support. 1. Plug the AC adapter into the power socket on your MF97G and then put the plug into an electrical outlet. 2. Disconnect the adapter when the battery is fully charged. NOTE: If the battery is extremely low, you may not be able to power on MF97G even when it is charging. Allow MF97G to charge longer and try again.
Powering On/Off Your MF97G Ensure that the battery is charged. Press and hold the Power Key to turn on your MF97G. To power it off, press and hold the Power Key to open the options menu. Touch Power off and then touch OK. Restarting Your MF97G If the screen freezes or takes too long to respond, try pressing and holding the Power Key for about 10 seconds to restart MF97G. Waking Up Your MF97G Your MF97G automatically goes into sleep mode when it is not in use for certain time.
Setting Up for the First Time When you first power on your MF97G after you purchase it or reset it to factory settings (see Backup and Reset), you need to do some settings before using it. Flick the language field to select the language and touch Start. Then follow the prompts to set up Wi-Fi, data and time, Google account, Google location and other options. Turning On/Off the Projector You can use the projector embedded in your MF97G to project the display onto large surfaces.
There are several ways that you can turn on or off the projector. When your MF97G’s screen is turned on, swipe up or down using THREE fingers on the screen to turn on or off the projector. Drag the status bar down from the top of the screen and touch Projector below Control Switch. From the HOME tab of the home screen, touch Projector widget. From the SETTINGS tab of the home screen, touch Projector > Control and then touch the switch next to Projector in the Projector settings screen.

Adjusting the Projection When the projector is on, you can adjust projection focus, keystone distortion, projection brightness and projection color. To adjust projection focus: 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > Projector > Image. 2. In the Focus section, turn on automatic focus or touch “+” and “-” to make manual adjustment.
2. In the Brightness section, select the brightness level. To adjust projection color: 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > Projector > Image. 2. In the Color correction section, select a color effect you like. Using the Touch Screen Your MF97G’s touch screen enables you to control actions through a variety of touch gestures.
Swipe or Slide To swipe or slide means to quickly drag your finger vertically or horizontally across the screen. Drag To drag, press and hold your finger with some pressure before you start to move your finger. While dragging, do not release your finger until you have reached the target position.
Pinch In some apps (such as Maps, web browser, and Gallery), you can zoom in and out by placing two fingers on the screen at once and pinching them together (to zoom out) or spreading them apart (to zoom in). Rotate the screen For some screens, you can automatically change the screen orientation from landscape to portrait by turning MF97G sideways.
NOTE: The Auto-rotate screen check box needs to be selected for the screen orientation to automatically change. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Device > Display > Auto-rotate screen. You can also access the screen rotation control by sliding down the status bar and touching Auto Rotate. Getting to Know the Home Screen The home screen is the starting point for your MF97G’s applications, functions, and menus.
Navigate the Home Screen Your home screen comes with a series of tabs. Touch a tab to access the items in it. With widgets, you can manage some important functions of your MF97G right from the home screen. Touch the APPS tab to find all your applications. Touch other tabs to find application shortcuts, folders and widgets. Personalize the Home Screen To add a tab: Touch to add a new tab in the home screen.
3. Drag the item to an empty spot in the tab and release your finger. To remove an application shortcut: 1. Touch and hold an application icon in any tab other than the APPS tab. 2. Drag the icon to your finger. (Remove) at the bottom and release To organize shortcuts with folders: 1. Touch and hold an application icon in any tab other than the APPS tab. 2. Drag the icon to (Folder) at the bottom and release your finger. A new folder is created and the icon is moved into the folder. 3.
3. Enter a new name and touch Done or touch any area outside the folder to save the name. To uninstall an application: 1. Touch and hold an application icon in the APPS tab of the home screen. 2. Touch on the application you want to uninstall. 3. Touch OK. NOTE: Not all applications can be uninstalled.
Personalizing Changing the System Language 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Local > Language & input > Language. 2. Select the language you need. Setting the Date and Time 1. 2. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Local > Date & time. Set the date, time, time zone, and date/time format. To adjust the date and time automatically, check Automatic date & time.
Changing Notification Sound You can customize the default notification sound. 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Device > Sound. 2. Touch Default notification. 3. Select the sound you want to use and touch OK. Turning On/Off Other System Sounds 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Device > Sound. 2. Check or uncheck Touch sounds, Screen lock sounds, or Vibrate on touch. Adjusting Volume 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Device > Sound > Volumes. 2.
Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Device > Sound > Sound mode and select Mute. Keep pressing the Volume Down Key when no media application is active. Drag the slider to adjust the screen brightness. Applying New Wallpapers You can set the wallpaper for the lock screen. 1.
1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Local > Security > Screen lock. 2. Touch Long Press, Pattern, PIN or Password. Touch Long Press to enable screen lock and allow unlock with a ‘touch and hold’ gesture. You can unlock the screen by touching and holding any blank area on the screen. Touch Pattern to create a pattern you must draw to unlock the screen. Touch PIN or Password to set a numeric PIN or a password that you must enter to unlock your screen.
unencrypted MF97G is to perform a factory data reset, which erases all your data. Encryption provides additional protection in case your MF97G is stolen, and may be required or recommended in some organizations. Consult your system administrator before turning it on. In many cases the PIN or password you set for encryption is controlled by the system administrator. Before turning on encryption, prepare as follows: ● Set a lock screen PIN or password. ● Charge the battery.
5. Touch Encrypt device again. The encryption process starts. Encryption can take an hour or more, during which time your MF97G may restart several times. When encryption is completed, you're prompted to enter your PIN or password. Subsequently, you must enter your PIN or password each time you power on your MF97G in order to decrypt it.
Knowing the Basics Monitoring the Device Status The status bar at the top of the home screen provides the status icons on the right side. Below are some of the icons you may see. / Battery low Airplane mode Battery partially drained Bluetooth on Battery charging Connected to a Wi-Fi® network Battery full Wired headset connected Silent mode Managing Notifications Notification Icons The status bar at the top of the home screen provides notification icons on the left.
Music playing Mobile hotspot on Unmount external USB device Downloading data External USB device connected Sending data microSDHC card safely unmounted USB connected Open/Close the Notification Panel Notifications report the arrival of new Gmail message, as well as ongoing events, such as when you are playing music. You can open the notification panel to view the details of notifications. To open the notification panel, swipe your finger down from the top of the screen.
To remove a notification, swipe it left or right. To remove all notifications, touch in the top right corner. Touch and hold a notification and then touch App info to identify the application that created it. To turn off notifications from that application if needed, uncheck Show notifications in the App info screen. Most apps that send notifications, such as Gmail, have notification settings that you can adjust.
connect MF97G with a USB device. Connect to PC: When it is highlighted, you can connect MF97G with your computer to transfer files via a USB cable. Wi-Fi: Touch to turn on or off Wi-Fi. Bluetooth: Touch to turn on or off Bluetooth. Hotspot: Touch to turn on or off the mobile Wi-Fi hotspot. Airplane: Touch to turn on or off airplane mode. Eye protection: Touch to turn on or off the eye protection feature for projection.
Android Keyboard The Android Keyboard provides a layout similar to a desktop computer keyboard. Touch the alphabetic keys to enter letters. Touch and hold some specific keys to enter associated accented letters or numbers. For example, to enter è, touch and hold and the available accented letters and number 3 appear. Then slide to choose è. Touch to use uppercase. Double-tap to lock uppercase.
Google Voice Typing Google Voice typing uses the Google voice recognition service to convert speech to text. You must have a data connection on a mobile or Wi-Fi network to use it. 1. Touch to access the voice typing when you are using the Android Keyboard. 2. When you see the microphone image, speak what you want to type. 3. You can continue entering text to keep it or to delete it. NOTE: Say "comma," "period," "question mark," "exclamation mark," or "exclamation point" to enter punctuation.
The nearest word highlights, with a tab at each end of the selection. Drag the tabs to change the selection. Cut or copy: Select the text you want to manipulate. Then touch (Cut) or (Copy), or in landscape mode touch Edit > Cut or Edit > Copy. Replace text with the clipboard text: Select the text you want to replace. Then touch mode touch Edit > Paste. or PASTE, or in landscape Insert text from the clipboard: Move cursor to the insertion point and then touch and hold the tab below the cursor.
You can swipe a thumbnail up or down to remove it from the list, or touch Remove All to clear the list.
Projection You can use the projector of your MF97G to project the files in MF97G or other devices connected to it. WARNING! Do not look directly into the projection lens or point the lens toward people or animals’ eyes when the projector is on as this may cause injury to the eyes. Projecting a File Saved in Your MF97G You can project a file stored in your MF97G. 1. Open the file you want to project. For example, to open image files, touch the APPS tab on the home screen and touch Gallery.
Projecting an HDMI Source You can project contents via an HDMI cable when connecting your MF97G to a laptop/PC or TV STB (Set Top Box). If you have an Apple device with the Lighting connector, you need to get a Lightning Digital AV Adapter (not included in the packaging). 1. Connect your MF97G to the laptop/PC or TV STB via the supplied HDMI cable. (Laptop/PC or TV STB is not included in the packaging.
4. Operate your laptop/PC, TV STB, or Apple device to select the content you want to watch. NOTES: If your laptop/PC has other kinds of output ports, such as VGA port, DVI port, DisplayPort and Mini DisplayPort, get a proper adapter to connect the laptop/PC with your MF97G. The maximum resolution of the HDMI source supported by MF97G is 1080p (1920 × 1080 pixels). When projecting an HDMI source, the maximum resolution of the projection screen is 720p (1280 x 720 pixels).
Projecting a File Saved in Your USB Device You can project a file stored on the USB device such as a USB flash drive or a portable hard drive. 1. Slide the status bar down to open the notification panel and ensure that “Connect to USB stick” is highlighted. 2. Connect your USB device to MF97G via the USB jack. 3. Touch the Home Key > APPS tab > File Manager. 4. Touch USB DEVICE to open the file you want to project. 5. Turn on the projector. See Turning On/Off the Projector.
To disconnect the USB device from your MF97G, you should open the notification panel and touch > OK. You can then remove the USB device. The maximum capacity of the portable hard drive supported by MF97G is 2 TB; the maximum capacity of the USB flash drive supported is 64 GB. Projecting a Source on Your Phone via Miracast (Wi-Fi Display) You can display the content from compatible smart phone on your MF97G with a Miracast (Wi-Fi Display) link. 1. Turn on the projector.
4. When you see the name of your MF97G displayed in the available devices section, touch the name. The phone then automatically tries to pair with your MF97G. 5. Touch Accept on your MF97G. After successful connection, the contents in the phone will be displayed on the projector. 6. On your phone, choose the content you want to display. NOTE: To end the Miracast link, touch the Back Key of MF97G.
Remote Control You can install the MF97G remote control app on your Android phone and use your phone as a remote control. Downloading and Installing the Remote Control App 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab on MF97G. 2. Use your Android phone to scan the left Quick Response (QR) code on the screen and find the MF97G remote control app in Google Play Store. 3. Download and install the remote control app on your phone.
4. 5. For the first time use or after you restart MF97G, touch OK on MF97G to accept the connection. When the connection completes, the content on MF97G’s screen will be displayed on your phone. You can then use your phone as the remote control. Touch your phone’s screen to control MF97G. Use , and on the remote control app screen as the Back Key, the Home Key and the Menu Key of MF97G. Touch to turn on the projector of MF97G or open the projector settings pop-up menu.
Connecting to Networks and Devices Connecting to Wi-Fi® Wi-Fi is a wireless networking technology that can provide Internet access at distances of up to 100 meters, depending on the Wi-Fi router and your surroundings. Turn Wi-Fi On and Connect to a Wi-Fi Network 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Network > Wi-Fi. 2. Slide the Wi-Fi switch to the ON position to turn on Wi-Fi. 3. Touch a network name to connect to it. 4. If the network is secured, enter the password and touch Connect.
Get Notified of Open Networks 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Network > Wi-Fi. 2. Slide the Wi-Fi switch to the ON position. 3. Touch the Menu Key > Advanced. 4. Check Network notification. When Wi-Fi is on, you receive notifications in the status bar when your MF97G detects an open Wi-Fi network. Uncheck the option to turn off notifications.
Forget a Wi-Fi Network You can make your MF97G forget about the details of a Wi-Fi network that you added - for example, if you don’t want your MF97G to connect to it automatically or if it is a network that you no longer use. 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Network > Wi-Fi. 2. Slide the Wi-Fi switch to the ON position. 3. Touch the Wi-Fi network name and then touch Forget.
Method two: PIN of MF97G 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Network > Wi-Fi. 2. Slide the Wi-Fi switch to the ON position. 3. Touch the Menu Key > WPS Pin Entry. 4. The WPS PIN displays on the screen. Enter the PIN into the access point's setup page. After entering the PIN, your MF97G automatically finds the access point and configures the connection. Method three: PIN of the access point 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Network > Wi-Fi. 2.
Adjust Advanced Wi-Fi Settings 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Network > Wi-Fi. 2. Touch the Menu Key > Advanced to adjust the following settings. Network notification: Get notifications in the status bar when Wi-Fi is on and an open network is available. Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep: Set whether to keep Wi-Fi on in sleep mode. Scanning always available: Allow Google’s location service and other apps to scan for networks, even when Wi-Fi is turned off.
Using Wi-Fi Direct® Wi-Fi Direct allows Wi-Fi devices to connect to each other without the need for wireless access points (hotspots). NOTE: Wi-Fi Direct is not completely compatible among different device manufacturers. You may need to install third-party applications to share files between different devices from different manufacturers. Connect to Another Device via Wi-Fi Direct 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Network > Wi-Fi. 2. If Wi-Fi is off, slide the Wi-Fi switch to the ON position.
Send Data via Wi-Fi Direct 1. Open the appropriate application and select the file or item you want to share. 2. Select the option for sharing via Wi-Fi Direct. The method may vary by application and data type. 3. Touch a device your MF97G has connected with or wait for it to search for new devices and touch one of them. Receive Data via Wi-Fi Direct When an attempt to transfer data via Wi-Fi Direct is received, you can see a notification in the status bar.
Turn Bluetooth On/Off 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Network > Bluetooth. 2. Slide the Bluetooth switch to the ON or OFF position. When Bluetooth is on, the icon will appear in the status bar. Make Your MF97G Visible In order to work with other phones or devices that have Bluetooth, you need to make your MF97G ‘visible’ to them. 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Network > Bluetooth. 2. Slide the Bluetooth switch to the ON position if Bluetooth is off. 3.
3. Touch the Menu Key > Rename device. 4. Edit the name and touch Rename. Pair With Another Bluetooth Device 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Network > Bluetooth. 2. Slide the Bluetooth switch to the ON position if Bluetooth is off. Your MF97G automatically scans for and displays the IDs of all available Bluetooth devices in range. You could touch SEARCH FOR DEVICES on the top right of the screen if you want to scan again. 3. Touch the device you want to pair with. 4.
Unpair From a Bluetooth Device You can make your MF97G forget its pairing connection with another Bluetooth device. To connect to the device again, you may need to enter or confirm a passkey again. 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Network > Bluetooth and ensure that Bluetooth is turned on. 2. 3. In the list of paired devices, touch the icon Bluetooth device you want to unpair from. Touch Unpair. beside the Send Data via Bluetooth 1.
3. Touch Accept to start receiving the data. Depending on whether a microSDHC card is installed, received files are stored automatically in a dedicated folder (Bluetooth, for instance) in the internal storage or microSDHC card. You can access them with the File Manager app. Connecting to Your Computer via USB You can connect your MF97G to a computer with a USB cable (not included) and transfer music, pictures, and other files in both directions.
2. Slide the status bar down to open the notification panel and touch "Connect to PC" to highlight it. 3. Open the notification panel and touch Connected as … or touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Device > USB mode. 4. Choose one of the following options: Install driver: Install the driver needed for some USB connection modes (such as MTP). You only need to install the driver on the same PC once.
1. Connect MF97G with your computer via USB and choose Media device (MTP). 2. Open Windows Media Player and synchronize music, picture, and video files. Disconnect Your MF97G From the Computer To disconnect MF97G from the computer, simply unplug the USB cable when you’re finished. Remove the microSDHC Card From Your MF97G If you need to remove the microSDHC card while MF97G is on, you must unmount it first. 1. If MF97G is connected to a computer, disconnect it. 2.
Erase the microSDHC Card 1. 2. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Device > Storage. Scroll down and touch Erase external SD card > Erase SD card > Erase everything. CAUTION: The formatting procedure erases all data on the microSDHC card, after which the files CANNOT be retrieved.
NOTES: Before connecting your MF97G with a USB device, slide the status bar down to open the notification panel and ensure that "Connect to USB stick" is highlighted. To disconnect a USB device from your MF97G, you should open the notification panel and touch > OK. You can then remove the USB device.
1. Slide the status bar down to open the notification panel and ensure that "Connect to USB stick" is highlighted. 2. Connect a webcam to MF97G via the USB jack. 3. Open a video chat app to make a video call. NOTES: You can download and install camera apps on MF97G to get more functions, such as picture taking and video recording. Not all webcams are supported by MF97G. Please refer to the webcam manual for detailed instructions.
NOTE: When the mobile hotspot feature is enabled, you cannot access the Internet via Wi-Fi connection with MF97G. 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Network > Mobile Hotspot. 2. Slide the switch to turn on Mobile Hotspot. 3. On another device, locate your MF97G via Wi-Fi and connect with it. Or, if the device supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup, touch the WPS icon on the device, and then touch on your MF97G.
try using a different channel. Security: Choose a security option: None (not recommended) or WPA2 PSK (other users can access your mobile hotspot only if they enter the correct password). When you select WPA2 PSK, touch the Password field to edit the security password. Broadcast network name (SSID): Check this option to broadcast your network SSID. If the broadcast is disabled, other users need to get your network name to find the mobile hotspot. 3. Touch Save to save your settings.
2. Touch and fill in the information provided by your network administrator. 3. Touch Save. The VPN is added to the list on the VPN screen. NOTE: You must set a lock screen pattern, PIN or password before using VPN. Connect to a VPN 1. 2. 3. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Network > More… > VPN. Touch the VPN that you want to connect to. When prompted, enter any requested credentials, and then touch Connect. Modify a VPN 1. 2. 3. 4.
Accounts Adding or Removing Accounts You can add multiple Google accounts. You may also add other kinds of accounts, depending on the apps installed on your MF97G. Add an Account 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Device > Add account. 2. Touch the type of account you want to add. 3. Follow the onscreen steps to enter the information about the account. Most accounts require a username and password, but the details may vary.
2. Touch the account category in the ACCOUNTS section and then touch the account. 3. Touch the Menu Key > Remove account > Remove account. Configuring Account Sync Sync Manually 1. Touch the Home Key > SETTINGS tab > System > Device. 2. In the ACCOUNTS section, touch the account category and then the account you want to sync. 3. Touch > Sync now. Google Search You can search for information on the web or on your MF97G using Google Search. Searching With Text You can search for information on the Internet or on MF97G (such as music, apps and contacts) by entering text. 1. Touch the Home Key > APPS tab > Google. 2. Enter the terms you want to search for in the search box and touch the enter key on the keyboard, or touch a search suggestion that appears below the search box.
Changing Search Settings Open the Google app and touch the Menu Key > Settings to set the search options, voice recognition and output settings, change accounts and privacy settings, and set the notification options for your account.
Gallery Opening Gallery Touch the Home Key > APPS tab > Gallery to view albums of your pictures and videos. Working With Albums When you open Gallery, all pictures and videos on your MF97G are displayed in a number of albums. To view album contents: Touch an album to view the pictures and videos it contains. To share albums, pictures, or videos: 1. Touch and hold an item in the Albums view to select an album or after you open an album to select a picture or a video. 2.
Working With Pictures Touch a picture in an album to view the picture in full screen. When viewing a picture in full screen, the following features are available. Swipe horizontally to see more pictures or videos. Pinch a picture or video to make it smaller. You'll then see a filmstrip-style view of all your pictures and videos in a row. Swipe left or right to scan through them all. NOTE: You can delete a picture or video by swiping it up or down in the filmstrip view.
Touch the Menu Key to rotate, delete, share, print, or rename the picture, check file details, set it as the lock screen wallpaper, or change slideshow setting. Play Music The Play Music application works with Google Music, Google’s online music store and streaming service. You can stream via Wi-Fi and listen to your favorite songs that you’ve added to your online Google Music library. You can also play audio files you’ve copied directly to your MF97G from a computer. NOTE: The availability of Google Music is dependent on your region. If it is not available, or you don’t have a Wi-Fi connection, you can only play music stored on your MF97G.

Sound Recorder Sound Recorder enables you to record voice memos and listen to them whenever you like. 1. Touch the Home Key > APPS tab > Sound Recorder. 2. Touch to start recording. Chrome on your MF97G can sync bookmarks, browsing history, and opened tabs from your Google account, so that you can maintain the same experience across your MF97G, phone, PC, tablet and other devices. Dolby Touch the Home Key > APPS tab > Dolby to select or customize a Dolby profile. You can also touch Dolby.
Drive Touch the Home Key > APPS tab > Drive. The Drive app allows you to store files on Google servers for free after you sign in to your Google account. You can access them on your computers, your phones and other devices, share them, or collaborate with others. File Manager Quickly access all of your images, videos, audio clips, and other types of files on your internal storage, the microSDHC card and the connected USB device. Touch the Home Key > APPS tab > File Manager.
Google+ Touch the Home Key > APPS tab > Google+. After signing in to your Google account, you can connect with friends and family with this app. Google+ allows you to set up circles of people to organize them into groups for sharing content. You can create hangouts for group or 1-to-1 chats, upload photos and videos, and much more. Hangouts Touch the Home Key > APPS tab > Hangouts. With this app, you can bring groups of friends together into a simple group conversation with text, photos, and video chat.
WPS Office Touch the Home Key > APPS tab > WPS Office. You can use the app to open or create Word, Excel, PowerPoint and TXT files, and read PDF files on your MF97G. YouTube Touch the Home Key > APPS tab > YouTube. You can watch videos and share your own with your friends, family, and the world.
Google Play™ Store Touch the Home Key > APPS tab > Play Store. You can buy or rent music, books, movies, apps, and download them to your MF97G. NOTE: The content you can access in Google Play Store depends on your region. Browsing and Searching for Apps You can browse apps by category. Touch a top-level category, such as GAMES and touch the app from any subcategory. You can also search for apps using an app’s name or description, or the developer’s name. Just touch and enter the search terms.
CAUTION: Once installed, some apps can access many functions or a significant amount of your personal data. The Play Store will show you what the app can access. Touch ACCEPT to proceed, or touch the Back Key to cancel. 2. Wait for the app to be downloaded and installed automatically. Payment needs to be authorized before paid apps start downloading. The app is successfully installed when a notification icon appears in the status bar. You can find the new app after touching the Home Key > APPS tab.
WARNING! When you’ve used Google Wallet once to purchase items from the Google Play Store app, MF97G remembers your password so you don’t need to enter it the next time. For this reason, you should secure your MF97G to prevent others from using it without your permission. Managing Your Downloads After you’ve downloaded and installed an app, you can rate it, view it in a list with your other downloaded apps, configure it to update itself automatically, and so on. Pulse notification light: Flash the indicator light to notify you of new events, such as the arrival of a new Gmail message. Touch key light duration: This feature lets you control the backlight of the touch keys (the Home Key, the Back Key, and the Menu Key). Choose one of the following options to set the backlight duration. Automatic: Let your MF97G turn on or off the touch keys backlight automatically.
You can choose the default location for new data, such as files downloaded and voice recorded. Touch Save location and select Device or SD card to store items in the internal storage or the installed microSDHC card. Touch Unmount SD card to unmount the microSDHC card from your MF97G so that you can safely remove the card while MF97G is on. Touch Erase external SD card to delete all data on the microSDHC card. Battery Check how much power remains for the battery and what has been using the battery.
Local Apps See apps installed on your MF97G and manage them. Touch an app in the DOWNLOADED, RUNNING, or ALL tab to see its information. You can stop the app, uninstall the app, or clear data and cache. NOTE: Not all applications can be uninstalled. Location Activate location services to determine your location.
