Unlocking the Screen
Press the Power/Lock Key to turn the screen on.
Tap twice and hold it to unlock the screen.
Answering or Rejecting Calls
When you receive a phone call, the Incoming Call screen opens, displaying the
caller ID and any additional information about the caller that you’ve entered in
Contacts. You can answer or reject the call, or reject it with a text message.
To answer a call, tap and hold with two fingers and drag it to .
NOTE: To silence the ringer before answering the call, press the Volume Down Key.
To reject a call, tap and hold with two fingers and drag it to .
To reject the call and send a preset text message to the caller, tap and hold with
two fingers and drag it to .
To end a call, tap , and then tap it twice.
Deactivating TalkBack
From the home screen, press . Tap System settings and then tap twice.
With two fingers, scroll down and tap Accessibility and then tap twice. Tap
TalkBack and then tap twice.
Tap and slide the TalkBack switch to OFF and then tap twice.
Tap OK and then tap twice.
Other Accessibility Settings
Power button ends call: When enabled, you can press the Power/Lock Key to end
phone calls without turning the screen off.
Quick start: Enable quick startup or shutdown.
Speak passwords: Check this box to enable the speak passwords function.
Text-to-speech output: Change settings for text to speech and adjust the rate at
which your phone speaks, to help blind and low-vision users.
Touch & hold delay: Select the time delay for the phone to distinguish finger
touch and hold gestures.
Enhance web accessibility: Allow apps to install scripts from Google that make
their web content more accessible for blind, low-vision, deaf, and hard of hearing
users.
Managing Other Settings
Search Settings
From the home screen, tap Google Settings.
You can set searchable items.
Voice Interaction
From the home screen, press System settings Language & input
Voice Search or Text-to-speech output to set text-to-speech and voice
recognition options.
About Phone
From the home screen, press System settings About phone to check
system updates, phone status and battery use, or view legal information and
software version.
