Entering Text
On a screen with a TouchPal X keyboard, tap , choose the
keyboard T26, T12, or T+.
The T26 Layout
Tap the alphabetic keys to enter
letters.
Tap to use uppercase or
lowercase letters. Double tap
to lock the keyboard in uppercase.
This key also changes to indicate the
current case you are using:
for
lowercase, for uppercase, and
when locked in uppercase.
Slide right on to enable word prediction. Slide left on
to disable word prediction
Tap to enter digits, symbols, emoticons and other pre-
defined texts. Tap
to find more. Tap to go back to entering
letters.
Tap to start a new line.
Tap or hold to delete text before the cursor.
Tap to access the quick settings, theme, or more settings of
TouchPal X keyboard.
Tap to choose the keyboard.
Tap to use voice input.
Tap to open text editing options. You can select, cut, copy,
paste, and delete text, or move the cursor.
Tap to access Twitter.
Tap to hide the on-screen keyboard. You can tap the text
field again to show the keyboard.
The T12 Layout
Tap a key repeatedly until the desired letter or symbol appears.
If word prediction is enabled (
), just tap the keys once and
choose the right word.
The T+ Layout
Tap to enter the left letter on the key; Double-tap to enter the
desired letter/symbol on the key. If word prediction is enabled
(
), just tap the keys and choose the right word.
