Requesting a Refund for a
Paid App
If you are not satisfied with an app, you can ask for a
refund within 15 minutes of the purchase. Your credit
card is not charged and the app is uninstalled from
your phone.
If you change your mind, you can install the app again,
but you can’t request a refund a second time. For
details, please read the Play Store help information.
1. Press the Home Key >

2. Tap
> My apps.
3. Tap the app to uninstall for a refund. The details
screen for the app opens.
4. Tap REFUND and then tap UNINSTALL. Your app is
uninstalled and the charge is cancelled.
Managing Your Downloads
After you’ve downloaded and installed an app, you
can rate it, view it in a list with your other downloaded
apps, configure it to update itself automatically, and
more.
Viewing Your Downloaded Apps
1. In the Apps screen of Play Store, tap > My
apps.
2. Your list of installed apps opens. You can tap one to
rate it, uninstall it, request a refund, update it, and
more.
Uninstalling an App
1. In the Apps screen of Play Store, tap > My
apps.
2. Tap an app to open its details screen.
3. Tap UNINSTALL > OK.
Press the Home Key > Apps icon > Settings.
Settings contains most of the tools for customizing and
configuring your device.
General Settings
Airplane Mode
Turn voice and data transmission on or off.
Wi-Fi
Turn Wi-Fi on or off and configure your Wi-Fi
connections (see Connecting to Networks and Devices
– Connecting to Wi-Fi).
Bluetooth
Turn Bluetooth on or off and configure your Bluetooth
connections (see Connecting to Networks and Devices
– Connecting to Bluetooth Devices).
Mobile Networks
Control mobile data use and data roaming (see
Connecting to Networks and Devices – Connecting to
Mobile Networks).
Sound
Adjust volumes (see Personalizing – Adjusting Volumes),
toggle sound and mute (see Personalizing – Switching
to Silent Mode), set up ringtone and notification
sound (see Personalizing – Changing the Ringtone and
Notification Sound), and select system sounds (see
Personalizing – Turning Touch Sounds On/Off). Tap
Silent mode to turn off all sounds except media and
alarm, or enable silent mode with vibration.
Display
• Brightness: Set the brightness of the display.
• Wallpaper: Select a background image for the
home screen or lock screen.
• Auto-rotate screen: Click the checkbox to auto-
rotate screen.
• Sleep: Set the length of time of inactivity before the
screen turns off automatically.
• Daydream: Set the daydream on the screen.
• Font size: Set the font size of the text on the screen.
• Pulse notification light: The LED flashes to notify
you of missed calls, new messages, and other events.
• Touch key light duration: Tap to set the duration
of the touch key light.
Date and Time
Set date, time, time zone, and how date and time are
displayed. You can also use network-provided data.
Language and Input
• Language: Select a language for your system.
• Spell checker: Use Google Spell Checker to check
for spelling errors when entering text and change its
settings.
• Personal dictionary: Add new words to the
phone’s dictionary or remove words from the
Settings
