Knowing the Basics
• Toopenthenoticationpanel,swipeyourngerdownfromthetopofthescreen.
• Toclosethenoticationpanel,swipeyourngeruponthescreenorpresstheBack
key.
Responding to or Removing a Notication
In the Notication Panel, you can respond to a notication or remove the notications.
The Notication Panel also supports expandable notications that let you perform
additional actions right from the notication itself.
• Torespondtoanotication,tapit.
• Toremoveanotication,swipeitleftorright.
• Toremoveallnon-persistentnotications,tapCLEAR ALL below all the notications.
• Tomanagenoticationsyouhavereceived,pressandholdanotication,andthen
choose to silence or block the application, or tap MORE SETTINGS to customize
more notication settings. See Settings – Device – Notications.
NOTE: If you block notications for an app, you may miss its important alerts and
updates.
Using Quick Settings
The Quick Settings make it convenient to view or change the most common settings for
your phone.
Open the notication panel and drag the panel downwards to nd the following Quick
Settings on the screen.
• Brightness: Uncheck AUTO and drag the brightness slider to adjust the screen
brightness.
• Bluetooth: Tap to turn on or o Bluetooth. Press and hold to get to the settings
screen.
