Vocally 3 Voice Activated Telephone Dialer
Whether it is because you cannot press or see the phone's keypad buttons or whether it is because you just don't
remember the numbers, dialing the phone can sometimes be very difficult. Vocally can solve these easily. All you
have to do is say the name of the person you wish to call, and let Vocally dial the number for you. Vocally is very
easy to set up and use, so you do not have to bother with complex instructions and manuals.
The Vocally is simple to understand. Connect it between the phone and the line, plug in the AC adapter, and it's
ready to use. Lift the handset, or unhook the speakerphone, and follow the verbalized instructions to store
numbers. You are asked to say the name you'd like to store — twice, and then you are asked to enter the phone
number with the phone's keypad. Instructions are clear and concise, in a synthesized voice. The Vocally can store
up to 60 names and numbers, each number up to 19 digits.
There are two different versions of Vocally based on your dialing
needs. If you need to dial the same set of numbers regularly, there is
the Vocally Freedom. If you need to dial these same numbers
frequently but also need to dial to any number that may come up,
there is the Vocally Infinity.
When all the names and numbers are stored, simply unhook the
phone, say the name to be dialed when you're asked for it, and
you're in! Remember, you will need to be able to unhook the phone
line in order to dial.
In addressing the needs of those who can talk but need other kinds of assistance, we are introducing the Vocally.
The Vocally is just about the same size as the Abilia (GEWA) Control Prog. There are three connections: power
from the provided AC adapter, phone line in from the wall, and a phone line connection to the phone.
Although it may be easiest to use Vocally with one's voice, the voice recognition system will work even from a
communication aid. Remember that the aid will say the name to dial the same way every time!
