The STB-1003 supports high-definition video that displays at 720p and
1080i with MPEG-4 part 10/H.264 format. High-definition video offers
exciting and dramatic viewing enjoyment thanks to better realism and
details, especially on larger displays; it also comes complete with digital
audio for even more exhilarating home theater experience.
Advanced Video Coding
ZyXEL’s STB-1003 offers IP video services, such as Video-on-Demand and
IPTV, based on MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 compression technology to reach a
wider audience or achieve a higher density of service, and thus increased
bandwidth efficiency. This enables Telcos to expand their subscriber base
and offer two or more video streams per household, where only one was
previously possible - creating opportunities for substantially increased
