The following table describes the labels in this screen.
11.4.1 G ue st Wire le ss Edit
Use this screen to edit an SSID profile. Click the Ed it icon next to an SSID in the G ue st Wire le ss screen. The
following screen displays.

LABEL DESCRIPTIO N
Band Use 2.4G Hz or 5G Hz to set up the EMG3435-Q20A’s guest Wi-Fi network.
# This is the index number of each SSID profile.
Status This shows whether the SSID profile is active (a yellow bulb) or not (a gray bulb).
SSID An SSID profile is the set of parameters relating to one of the EMG3435-Q20A’s BSSs. The SSID
(Service Set IDentifier) identifies the Service Set with which a wireless device is associated.
This field displays the name of the wireless profile on the network. When a wireless client scans
for an AP to associate with, this is the name that is broadcast and seen in the wireless client
utility.
Security This field indicates the security mode of the SSID profile.
Remaining time If the user is currently not permitted to access the Internet, you can click Se t to allow access for
a specified period of time. A screen then displays allowing you to set how long (in hours) the
user is allowed to access the Internet.
This field displays the amount of Internet access time that remains for each user before the
EMG3435-Q20A blocks the user from accessing the Internet.
0:0:0 means there is no extra Internet access time.
Edit Click the Ed it icon to configure the SSID profile.
