The following table describes the labels in this screen.
11.8 Sc he duling Sc re e n
Use this screen to set the times your wireless LAN is turned on and off. Wireless LAN scheduling is disabled
by default. The wireless LAN can be scheduled to turn on or off on certain days and at certain times. To
open this screen, click Expe rt Mode > Wire le ss > Sc he duling .

WPS Setup
Band Select the frequency band to set whether you want to apply the wireless and security
settings to the default 2.4G Hz or 5G Hz wireless LAN.
WPS Select Ena b le to turn on the WPS feature. Otherwise, select Disa b le .
PIN Code Select Ena b le and click Apply to allow the PIN Configuration method. If you select Disa b le ,
you cannot create a new PIN number.
PIN Number This is the WPS PIN (Personal Identification Number) of the EMG3435-Q20A. Enter this PIN in
the configuration utility of the device you want to connect to the EMG3435-Q20A using
WPS.
The PIN is not necessary when you use WPS push-button method.
Click G e ne ra te to generate a new PIN number.
Push Button Use this button when you use the PBC (Push Button Configuration) method to configure
wireless stations’s wireless settings.
Click this to start WPS-aware wireless station scanning and the wireless security information
synchronization.

Use this button when you use the PIN Configuration method to configure wireless station’s
wireless settings.
Type the same PIN number generated in the wireless station’s utility. Then click Sta rt to
associate to each other and perform the wireless security information synchronization.
WPS Status
Status This displays Co nfig ure d when the EMG3435-Q20A has connected to a wireless network
using WPS or when WPS Ena b le is selected and wireless or wireless security settings have
been changed. The current wireless and wireless security settings also appear in the screen.
This displays Unc onfig ure d if WPS is disabled and there are no wireless or wireless security
changes on the EMG3435-Q20A or you click Re le a se C o nfig ura tion to remove the
configured wireless and wireless security settings.

Configuration
This button is only available when the WPS status displays Co nfig ure d.
Click this button to remove all configured wireless and wireless security settings for WPS
connections on the EMG3435-Q20A.
802.11 Mode This is the 802.11 mode used. Only compliant WLAN devices can associate with the
EMG3435-Q20A.
SSID This is the name of the wireless network (the EMG3435-Q20A’s first SSID).
Security This is the type of wireless security employed by the network.
Apply Click Apply to save your changes back to the EMG3435-Q20A.
Cancel Click C a nc e l to reload the previous configuration for this screen.
