The StreamBoost engine on the EMG3435-Q20A can identify the types of connected devices (such as
PC, smart phone, tablet, TV or game console) in your network. When there is not enough bandwidth to

Enable StreamBoost Select this option to turn on Streamboost management on the EMG3435-Q20A.
Up Limit (Mbps) If you select Autom a tic Ba ndwidth De te c tio n, this automatically displays the total amount of
bandwidth that you can dedicate to uplink (or outgoing) traffic.
If you don’t select Autom a tic Band width De te c tio n, set the total amount of bandwidth that
you want to dedicate to uplink (or outgoing) traffic.
This is traffic from LAN/WLAN to WAN.
Down Limit (Mbps) If you select Autom a tic Ba ndwidth De te c tio n, this automatically displays the total amount of
bandwidth that you can dedicate to downlink (or incoming) traffic.
If you don’t select Autom a tic Band width De te c tio n, set the total amount of bandwidth that
you want to dedicate to downlink (or incoming) traffic.
This is traffic from WAN to LAN/WLAN.
Enable Automatic
Update
StreamBoost provides a cloud-based service to learn any new type of traffic which is not in
its database and update the table in the EMG3435-Q20A for traffic detection and policies.
Select this option to have theEMG3435-Q20A automatically receives the StreamBoost table
updates. When there is a new type of traffic which is not in the EMG3435-Q20A’s table, the
EMG3435-Q20A will capture some packets and send them to the StreamBoost cloud for
analysis and database update.
Apply Click Apply to save your customized settings.
Cancel Click Ca nc e l to begin configuring this screen afresh.
