6.1 O ve rvie w
The EMG3435-Q20A is set to router mode by default. Routers are used to connect the local network to
another network (for example, the Internet). In the figure below, the EMG3435-Q20A connects the local
network (LA N1 ~ LAN4) to the Internet.

Note: After clicking Lo g in, the Ea sy Mo de appears. Refer to
Chapter 5 on page 27 for the
Ea sy Mo de screens. Change to Expe rt Mo de to see the screens described in the
sections following this.

Click Expe rt Mo de > Sta tus > Syste m Sta tus to open the status screen.
