Multicast Status
27.1 Multicast Status Overview
Use the Multicast Status screens to view IPv4 or IPv6 multicast group information.
27.2 IGMP Status
Use this screen to look at the current list of IPv4 multicast groups the Zyxel Device manages through
IGMP. Internet Group Multicast Protocol (IGMP) is a network-layer protocol used to establish
membership in a Multicast group - it is not used to carry user data. You can configure IGMP settings in
Network Setting > IGMP/MLD.
To open this screen, click System Monitor > Multicast Status > IGMP Status.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
Refresh Click this button to update the information on this screen.
Interface This field displays the name of the Zyxel Device’s interface that belongs to an IGMP multicast
group.
Multicast Group This field displays the address of the IGMP multicast group to which the interface belongs.
Filter Mode INCLUDE means that only the IP addresses in the Source List get to receive the multicast group’s
traffic.
EXCLUDE means that the IP addresses in the Source List are not allowed to receive the multicast
group’s traffic but other IP addresses can.
Source List This lists the IP addresses that are allowed or not allowed to receive the multicast group’s traffic
depending on the filter mode.
Member This lists the IP address of members currently in the multicast group.
