8 If the wireless client keeps trying to connect to or acquiring an IP address from the Zyxel Device, make
sure you entered the correct security key.
If the connection has limited or no connectivity, make sure the DHCP server is enabled on the Zyxel
Device.
If your connection is successful, open your Internet browser and enter http://www.zyxel.com or the URL
of any other website in the address bar. If you are able to access the web site, your wireless connection
is successfully configured.
4.4 Configure a Firewall Rule
You can enable the firewall to protect your LAN computers from malicious attacks from the Internet if
you want to allow specific traffic in from the Internet.
1 Click Configuration > Security > Firewall to open the General screen.
2 Select IPv4 Firewall/IPv6 Firewall to enable the firewall, and click Apply.
3 Open the Access Control screen to create a rule.
4 Click Add New ACL Rule to set up a rule.
• Filter Name: Enter a name to identify the firewall rule.
• Source IP Address: Enter the IP address of the computer that initializes traffic for the application or
service.
