IP Multicast IP Multicast is used to send traffic to a specific group of computers. The
NBG-417N supports versions 1 and 2 of IGMP (Internet Group
Management Protocol) used to join multicast groups (see RFC 2236).
Logging Use logs for troubleshooting. You can view logs in the Web
Configurator.
PPPoE PPPoE mimics a dial-up Internet access connection.
PPTP Encapsulation Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) enables secure transfer of data
through a Virtual Private Network (VPN). The NBG-417N supports one
PPTP connection at a time.
Universal Plug and Play
(UPnP)
The NBG-417N can communicate with other UPnP enabled devices in a
network.
