The new Afro HV ESC is here! After a year of development, testing and refinement…the challenges of a high voltage capable multirotor ESC have been overcome! Through a combination of new software and hardware development, we were able to make a SimonK HV ESC that can handle up to 8s of high efficient multirotor power! SimonK software is a fast response algorithm developed for the need of multirotor stability, however above 4s, standard and even other HV ESC could not handle the inrush current from the fast response software, this has stopped the development of efficient, high voltage power systems for multirotors using fast response ESC’s…. until now. Developed from the ground up, we wanted to build a truly Multi-rotor specific ESC that would offer the best performance and value in the market today.
