Description

The Neve 8803 consists of an equalizer and two filter channels in the great tradition of Neve processors. There Equalizer circuitry used is based on the classic design of the Neve 8108 but includes improvements to the flexibility of frequency range and Q. Inputs balanced with Trim of +/- 20db are followed by two filters a 12dB per octave. The High Pass filter is variable frequency from 25Hz to 300Hz, while the Low Pass is able to work in a range from 3kHz to 15kHz. The four equalizer bands has a Shelf and Q selector on the treble and on the bass, together with a variable control for the Q of the mids. The selection of frequencies is "continuously." variable "on all bands with a range of respectively 33Hz-440Hz, 120Hz-2kHz, 0.8kHz-9kHz and 1.5kHz-18kHz.
