AnyBus X gateway - Ethernet Adapter/Server - J1939 The AnyBus X gateway allows you to monitor and control data from a commercial vehicle J1939 network from an Ethernet-based PLC system or device. The gateway supports Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP protocols. FAST I/O DATA TRANSFER BETWEEN TWO NETWORKS J1939 message data is mapped to I/O tables so that they are accessible to the Ethernet network. In the Ethernet/IP network, the X-gateway is an adapter so that J1939 data (I/O or Explicit Messages) can be transferred to the scanner of the Ethernet/IP network. In Modbus TCP, the gateway is a server so that the J1939 data can be addressed as Modbus registers by a Modbus TCP client.
