Serial master – PROFINET IO device With AnyBus Communicator, you can integrate serial devices (RS-232/485) into a PROFINET network. No changes to the serial device are necessary for this. The protocol converter can transfer large amounts of data, is easy to configure thanks to its drag and drop web interface and is based on the proven Anybus technology. CONVERTS ALMOST ANY SERIAL PROTOCOL The Communicator can convert almost any serial protocol, e.g. master/slave protocols such as Modbus RTU, but also vendor-specific query/response or product/resume protocols.
