Description

The "Wild Thumper" is a robust terrain robot platform, which has been designed especially for robot lovers. An ideal platform for competitions as well as rescue robots, bomb defusing and firefighting. For simplifying the mounting of conducting boards, sensors and hardware the platform and the upper deck have 4 mm holes in the 10 mm grid distances. The unique "Supertwist"-wheel suspension has been designed such that the road grip is retained formaximum drive power of all the wheels. For optimising the drive at different loads or terrain structure the traction can be adjusted. The six powerful motors with their steel-box gears simplify the use even in difficult terrains at steep hillsides. Two spacious boxes are present between the wheels for keeping up to 4 x 7.2 V sub C battery packs, which are normally used for RC-vehicles.
