The PRIME X370-A AM4 ATX Motherboard from ASUS is designed for AMD Ryzen, 7th Generation A-Series, and Athlon processors by coming with an AMD AM4 socket as well as an AMD X370 chipset. This ATX motherboard has four DIMM slots that can each support a DDR4 memory module up to 16GB in capacity, allowing the system to hold a total of 64GB. For storage drives, the motherboard is equipped with six SATA III connections as well as an M.2 slot for accommodating SATA or PCIe-based SSDs. Installing an AMD Ryzen processor allows the motherboard to support RAM speeds of up to 2666 MHz and offer four PCIe 3.0 lanes for the M.2 slot, while an A-Series or Athlon processor makes it compatible with 2400 and 2133 MHz memory speeds and provides two PCIe 3.0 lanes for M.2 SSDs.
