Built with a CEB form factor and ATX mounting holes for use in chassis, tower, or rack systems that are being used for SMB, print/file/mail, and entry storage servers, the Z11PA-D8 Server LGA 3647 CEB Motherboard from ASUS features the Intel C621 chipset and dual LGA 3647 sockets, each of which can support one processor. Each processor supports four DIMM slots and compatible memory types include 4, 8, 16, and 32GB RDIMM modules, 32 and 64GB LR-DIMM modules, and 64 and 128GB LR-DIMM 3DS modules. With all eight DIMM slots in use, up to 1TB of memory is supported. The Z11PA-D8 has a total of four mini-SAS connectors that can support a total of 16 SATA III 6 Gb/s ports, as well as two M.2 connectors that support 2242, 2260, 2280, and 22110 SSDs via PCIe 3.0 x4.
