AudioQuest coats the oxygen-free copper conductors with a thin layer of metal to prevent oxidation for the life of the cable. The four main conductors use a very precise twist ratio to help prevent signal degradation over longer runs. The high-density polyethylene insulation includes a gas-injected foam layer for improved stability. A special heating process seals the foam on both sides to maintain full performance despite cable bending and compression.
