The Bosch Starter Kit contains a powerful 18 V Li-Ion battery and the matching quick charger. The battery has a capacity of 2.5 Ah, so it allows a long working hours. The battery fits on all 18 V devices of the Bosch Power 4 All series, so they can be exchanged easily with each other. The big advantage with this system is that not every device has to be bought with batteries, but cheaper device versions without its own battery can be used. As a result, the batteries are used more often, which prevents self-discharge and extends the life. The supplied fast charger fills the battery up to 80% in just 40 minutes, so that the breaks are kept short. Even intermediate loading is possible at any time thanks to Li-Ion technology.
