Bose Home Remote Controls

The remote only illuminated the buttons I needed to control the music I was playing over Bluetooth. So cool! Even the biggest A/V fans among us likely wouldn't mind doing away with the pile of remotes that we use to control our equipment. The Bose Soundbar Universal Remote can help with that. In addition to controlling your Bose sound bar, it can be programmed to control your TV, cable box, and more. The Universal Remote is an optional accessory for the Soundbar 500 (and definitely a worthy upgrade), but it actually ships with the Soundbar 700, so I got to try it out when I tested that bar. I was a big fan of its contextual backlighting — that means that it only lights up the buttons you need for the task you are performing.
