I like an effective, versatile stereo system in my living room, and the Cambridge Audio AXA35 is the type of component I like to build around. It's classy-looking and easy to operate. It matches well with an efficient set of bookshelf speakers like the Cambridge Audio SX50 and provides plenty of power to fill small- to mid-sized room with beautiful music. The AXA35 offers plenty of analog inputs for old-school source components, like Cambridge's AXC35 CD player, and there's a built-in phono stage if you're a vinyl junkie like me.
