Canon's WFT-E8A wireless file transmitter adds speedy image transfer capabilities and wireless shooting options to the EOS-1D X Mark II . It supports the IEEE 802.11ac wireless protocol using both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands for ultra-high-speed image transfer. A perfect low-profile add-on, the WFT-E8A shares the same kind of dust- and moisture-resistant construction with the 1D X Mark II, and is powered by the camera. Depending on what your shooting situation calls for, you can use the WFT-E8A to transfer images using a computer or a mobile device. Canon's Camera Connect app lets you transfer images and MP4 movies to your compatible phone or tablet. Remote Live View still and motion capture lets you control and change settings on your 1D X Mark II through a straightforward interface on your device. Wireless time syncing for up to ten 1D X Mark II cameras lets you record a timed succession of images and determines the accurate shooting sequence.
