The Canon 2-Year Extended Warranty extends the original 1-year warranty by 2 years and covers all defects encountered in normal use of the product. The warranty guarantees that the printer will operate normally according to the manufacturer's specifications or it will be repaired or replaced at no additional charge. The warranty does not cover equipment that has been misused, modified or tampered with as indicated in the instruction manual. The warranty is not transferable.
