Cartrend's Polar Safety snow chains give the wheels good grip on ice and snow. This makes it possible to start off on uphill and downhill gradients, as well as increasing traction for better maneuverability. The mounting of the snow chains is done by a few handles, all of which take place in front of the wheel. Annoying gripping in the narrow wheel arch is no longer necessary. The square links are made of a sturdy stainless steel alloy, which ensures high stability even under high stress and allows a long service life. Due to the special chain construction, the snow chain achieves a particularly good fit on the bike and rests very well. After removal, it is recommended to wash the snow chains with clear water to remove salt and dirt. Then the chain should be lightly oiled with multifunctional oil. This protects against corrosion and extends the service life.
